I really like this parka

Beau manteau, sûrement très chaud, mais pas pour moi. Je suis petite (5’) mais pas mince (135 lbs), j’ai commandé le small et la taille convenait. Cependant, les manches sont trop longues et la coupe donnait un peu trop un look « poche de patates ». Je n’ai pas aimé la conception du capuchon que j’ai trouvé encombrant. Bref, je l’ai retourné et j’ai conservé le Quartz Genia qui était plus approprié à ma silhouette.

The original size order runs a bit large.
I had to send it back to size it down.
The parka though is very warm,and beyond expectations in terms of quality.

This coat was exactly what I was looking for ! 
Straight cut , great colour/ style and super warm!! 
I found the size reviews hard to read . 
So. To help others- 
I am 5’2 , size range 8-10 tops and bottoms and I got the M size coat. Perfect ! The coat is listed as “ Relaxed fit” so I can wear the M coat with sweaters underneath no problem. 
I agree with another reviewer , the sleeve is a bit longer - but I love it. It’s not unsightly … Infact I find it functional . It covers my hand on my hikes/ walks allowing me to go without mitts. 
I’ve had this coat out in ranging temperatures - day/ night time , and I would say it definitely lives up to being a “ parka” ! 
Wind proof, warm in -20 degrees ( as I have tested it so far ) 

I wish it wasn’t so expensive … but ! I guess you get what you pay for - and with this coat I feel satisfied that it lives up to its claims! 
Side note - I did remove the “ fur” collar on the hood - that looked cheap. 
Super glad it’s an option!!

I am satisficed with my purchase. It is not too tight but doesn&#x27;t look bulky! I love this simple straight fit. It&#x27;s incredibly warm and cozy. This is exactly what I was looking for!

Best winter jacket!

Bought this as a replacement for my worn out Canada Goose jacket. This North Face outerboroughs parka is much more polished.
I really like the length. 
I plan to travel to Nunavut this winter and wanted to have a warm coat for extreme cold weather. This will be perfect.

Been on the hunt for a proper parka that doesn’t involve real fur (fake blocks snow just as well) and this takes the cake. Classic look and fit. 

Yes, size down. I’m normally a north face large in tops because I like things roomier and I got the medium and it’s perfect. I can fit a sweater under there but the way the arms are tailored it can make a drop-sleeve somewhat bunchy- but still works. 

This parka is a good way to greet a snow fall.
