Word has it that back when Costante Girardegno was winning the 1919 Giro d’Italia, he was clothed by Milan-based tailor Vittore Gianni, which would later become Castelli. In the intervening century, we’ve managed to improve on the wool fabrics that we used for Costante. Now we wrap virgin wool around a nylon core to reduce shrinkage and improve the hand and moisture management. And, because, it’s not a spun yarn, it won’t twist around your body. Classically styled in the most modern traditional fibers.
