The Poncho & Hammock Underquilt is incredibly versatile. The insulating layer extends the usability of a rain poncho in to cooler temperatures. When sleeping in a hammock, even when using a sleeping bag, one feels chilly as the sleeping bags insulation gets compressed. The Underquilt wrapped under your hammock creates an insulating layer that keeps you cozy at all times. The toggles and cords allow it to be attached easily to the hammock or suspension cords.
When used as a hammock underquilt, the head opening can be sealed with the hook and loop closure. When used as a poncho the hook and loop is covered to prevent it from scratching.
