Based on reviews I ordered a large when my regular size is medium. I wanted some and the large fit great. Unfortunately I could not wear it as it was too itchy. I wore a long sleeved undershirt but it could not protect me from the high collar so I had to return it.

Itchy

I bought a med and large sweater as the reviews were mixed on the sizing. I normally wear medium but the large was the true fit. Very nice style but unfortunately returned them both as the sweater is definitely itchy. I always wear an underlayer which breaks the itch around the torso and arms but the high neck is unprotected so the itch is felt there. Too bad as I liked the look of the sweater and the large fit fine (like it roomy and the shoulders fit properly) but it would drive me nuts having to pull the neckline away. It would no doubt be worse when it gets warm.

Nice Quality Sweater

The wool is scratchier than I expected so I need to wear over a long sleeved t shirt. It is extremely warm though. I’ll wear as a mid layer for hiking in colder weather. The collar comes up quite high on me so I need to leave the zip open.

This is a very nice quality wool sweater. I recommend it to anyone for warmth! I think it runs small because the large fits me at 145 lbs. but I like things a little loose.
