For the price, these are great! Usually go with merino but this is a nice thin alternative for ski socks

Beautiful material

For the first time I try silk socks. They are pretty thick compare to my other hiking liner socks, maybe because they are made for skiing. The touch of the material is smooth and very soft. Didn&#x27;t expect 100% silk could be so elastic. They fit tightly alone the calf, slightly cushioned at toe and heal which increase comfort and durability.

Ce n&#x27;est pas précisé dans la description, mais lorsque j&#x27;ai reçu l&#x27;item, j&#x27;ai eu la surprise de voir qu&#x27;il s&#x27;agissait de bas de ski. Ils montent vraiment haut, ça ne correspond pas à ce que je cherchais, soit des sous-bas de randonnée.

As someone with contact allergies, I&#x27;m a little suspect of the 100% silk claim - yes, they likely have 100% silk in them, but definitely feels like an elastic at the top. I&#x27;d beware if you deal with latex allergies.

They fit my feet as expected, and I appreciate that they have enough width in the forefoot for toes to wiggle. However, I am surprised that the calves are so tight - my calves are only 13.5&quot; - in my more athletic days there is no way I could have gotten these on. I&#x27;ve only worn indoor for a few hours, so I can&#x27;t speak to durability.

For thin calves only

Love these but was surprised by how thick they are, which might be a concern for those wanting to use them as a liner. I used them with thin hiking socks in my hiking boots to prevent foot blisters.

Smooth as silk!

I finally decided to get a pair of silk liners as my sister has always done long distance hikes with liners. This pair is very comfortable and warm. I could easily wear them just on their own and am excited to try wearing them as liners for my next hike. Seems to be good quality although will have to see how they stand up to wear and tear.
