Spyder balaclava

Got this for my daughter and she likes it a lot. Fits nicely under a ski helmet. Has a soft fleece layer on the inside which she appreciates.

Excellent balaclava

I bought one for two of my children (ages 5 and 7). Excellent quality, comfortable and long at the neck.
They are very made of fleece in the bottom and a stretchy material at the top, which makes it ideal for putting under a ski/snowboard helmet but not for using to play outside without a helmet. 
I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 because the two sections pull apart leaving their ears/cheeks at times exposed to the cold if they don’t have their goggles on to hold it together. I wonder if this may fit better as they get older.

Comfortable but

Bought this for my 6 year old for skiing, thinking it would be perfect to slip under his helmet. Unfortunately the hat part is constructed very shallow and wide - it only reaches the tops of his ears and there is lots of extra fabric in the width which makes it slip around easily. With enough fiddling I can tuck the neck warmer up and over his ears and pull back so it fits his face (otherwise it’s too baggy and slides down). But after a couple hours skiing, it all comes loose again. For reference, his head circumference is 50cm. Otherwise, it’s a great concept to have a thinner material up top to fit under a helmet and a thicker fleece for the neck section.

They were happy with them so they will be worn!
