  Hokas run small so converting for women’s size can take more than one try. Altitude were great about swapping sizes for me. Otherwise, a pretty good shoe.

  Exactly what I hoped for

  I was in search of a trail shoe for an upcoming trip that will involve some elements of hiking. After doing some research, it was evident that I didn't need a dedicated hiking shoe, especially since I want to use the speedgoats in other instances. Its exactly what I hoped for. As others have said, I would recommend sizing up at least half a size. I am a men's size 10 in my Clifton 10s and had to size up to 10. 5 with the speedgoats. I also tried the 10s and it was a bit too snug. I haven't tested these on proper trails just yet but have used them for walks that involve unleveled gravel/tirt + grass and they've been very comfortable. Even better if you can grab them while they're on sale.

  Great shoe, but did not work for me

  Wanted to love these, but did not work for me--too constricting in the forefoot and the goretex membrane meant not a lot of give. A bit surprised as my Hoka Anacapa's have almost the opposite problem. Maybe for really technical trails this would be a positive feature, but looking for something more comfortable. Really liked everything else about them, so they might work for you, but try them on.

  J'utilise ces espadrilles pour la course sur sentier, ils sont très confortables avec une bonne adhérence. C'est ma deuxième paire, je les aime bien. Cependant, ils pourraient être plus résistants pour le prix.

  Great Winter Trail Shoes

  I use these shoes primarily for winter trail running and they’re great! The Gore-Tex keeps my feet dry and the lugs provide ample grip in wet, snowy and icy conditions. Then, as an added bonus I can also keep using these year round for summer trail runs as well. I don’t see the added value of studded shoes as these work perfect across all conditions!
