Worn non-stop!
I received my first 75 cool-lite featherlight merino blend ss Tshirt as an add on at the Icebreaker Touchlab in Montreal - a “use your points before they expire” type purchase. Well, I have purchased two other 75’s since then, a ss black and a long-sleeve black. The original one was the orchid purple-like colour. The Good: It is very light weight and non-chaffy, non-itchy. It is very comfortable as an undershirt/ base layer. I wear it under a quarter zip or a crew neck, fleece or hoodie in the house during the day and as a sleep shirt at night. The Bad: It is very light weight and can snag on ring prongs or watch buckles. Mine have a couple of snags and one snag progressed to a hole when I put my finger through it pulling the shirt on! It was easy to repair with a basic weave technique and is barely noticeable. The shirt is not opaque. It is definitely see through if you have a bra that contrasts your skin colour, and even if your bra is a good match, I think it is still possible to see through, so if you have modesty concerns don’t plan on wearing it as a stand alone Tshirt. Having said that, if I channel my inner Sheldon from Big Bang Theory and wear the long sleeve black one the ss overtop I feel totally well covered! So I took one star off because I find it easy to snag. No stars off due to it’s being see through as that is part and parcel of what makes this Tshirt so beautifully comfortable. Hope this helps!
