  The pants sit below the belly button and hang around the hip bone. I usually prefer a high waist, but these are fine. I like the slightly loose fit for a summer linen look. My size is XS, and these pants fit me well. I highly recommend them! The only thing is that I had to alter the length by 1 inch to wear them with sandals (I am 160cm).
