  Great light weight running vest

  First time buying a running vest. I like that this one is very soft and thin, and has many adjustable straps. The front pocket holds a phone and water very well. Note: it only comes with 1 475mL soft flask.

  Does what says, no surprise. Be aware, there’s only one 500ml bottle, don’t care that much since I put my iPhone in the other pocket, but it would have been nice to have 2 bottles. The pocket fits an iPhone 15 pro Max which is nice with our phones getting bigger and bigger. I ordered M, usually wear M, but it’s ok but very fit, so if you have a large torso may be it’s good to size up. There is enough stretch though to accommodate and the construction and materials are A one. The reflective logos are also a nice addition.

  Nice and lightweight but won’t stay put

  I wanted to love this vest. It is so soft and light it’s like you are wearing nothing. However, I couldn’t get it to stay put. With a full water bottle on one side and a bear spray on the other, it bounced like crazy and was so uncomfortable for my hour run that I’ll never use it again. It’s too bad because it is so nice. Perhaps if there were more straps to secure it, it would work better but unfortunately it missed the mark for me

  Great vest, however…

  Love Nathan products. I have another Nathan Hydration Vest that’s much heavier duty, but I wanted something lighter for shorter runs. This vest is very light, especially for warmer weather runs, but I found, because it’s unisex the sizing is very large. I ordered the smallest size available and I still had to adjust the straps to their smallest setting to avoid bounce. Still a great product, but definitely take note, as it does run on the larger size.

  True to its name--light as a feather

  When I trained for and ran my first half marathon, I used a running belt for carrying water, gummies, and my keys, and HATED it. It rode up constantly, no matter how much I tightened it, and if I wore the belt higher, then my arms hit the water bottles as I ran. I wanted to throw it in the bushes during my half marathon, ha, ha! I am a really, really sweaty runner, so I was always leery of wearing a hydration vest and essentially adding an extra layer of clothing for running. I bought this as an impulse buy when it was on sale, and I am surprised at how quickly I adapted to wearing this for longer runs! It is lightweight, breathable, and doesn't ride up. There is minimal bounce with the included 414 mL soft flask with the bite valve which is convenient to drink from (slightly underfill so it doesn't bounce). I am 5'5", ~137 lb, and small chested, and I purchased the S/M, only because I don't think I realized there was an XXS/XS version, as that size wasn't in stock when I purchased. I have the sides cinched as far as they will go, and the vest fits fine. Not sure why they didn't include a second soft flask for the other pocket, but I purchased a 500 mL size on sale for longer runs. I have only carried my water, keys, and gummies in it. The front pockets are velcro and not zippered; I'd suggest for future iterations that Nathan make one of those front pockets zippered so you don't have to worry about your keys bouncing out! Overall ,for your "shorter long runs", haha, where you don't need a ton of space for gear or serious amounts of fluids, this vest is a great option. Look for a sale and pick one up!

  Après des années à courir une bouteille d’eau à la main, ceci est mon premier sac à d’eau d’hydratation. Léger et confortable, les bouteilles en matière plastique molle tiennent bien en place. Deux choses à s’habituer: les bouteilles molles sont franchement très difficiles à remettre à leur place après avoir bu (et difficiles à sortir également, forçant à s’arrêter. Dépendant de la longueur de vos sorties, il vous faudra possiblement deux bouteilles, chacune ne faisant que 450ml.
