The Shield is a lightweight, four-season mountaineering tent with a single door and single-wall design meant to be taken to the highest elevations, withstand the strongest winds, and keep you warm in the coldest climates. This bomber tent is constructed with ultralight nylon, 3-layer waterproof, breathable fabric with a microporous membrane and tricot layer to enhance moisture management and provide protection from the elements. The Accessory Vestibule(Sold separately)adds covered entry and exit, plus additional gear storage when you need a little more room to spread out undercover.

• Single-wall construction provides reliable shelter while still light and fast pitching
• Pertex® lightweight yet durable fabric technology that is waterproof, windproof, and breathable
• Single-door with storm flap features two windows- lower window for weather-viewing and upper window with two closure options: mesh only for ventilation or zip closed for maximum protection
• Two supported roof vents with reach-through mesh design allows vent closure from tent interior, and to allow rope pass-through for sleeping in a secured harness. Zip closed nylon vent flaps for complete closure
• Enhanced moisture management with specially developed ultralight three-layer fabric that is waterproof and breathable
• Pole sleeves attach tent body to poles and reinforce structure Triangular stake-out flaps on exterior add extra guyout points for added stability

Care
• Submerge your gear in warm, clean water. Gently agitate with hands. Empty dirty water. Repeat until most of the excess dirt/grime is removed and water is mostly clear
• Apply waterproof gear specific wash and gently work into fabric with sponge
• Rinse gear thoroughly
• Hang it up to dry
• Triple check that your gear is completely dry before storage or use
• Do not dry clean or machine-wash. Detergents and dry cleaning solvents will damage the fabric and ruin waterproofing
• Never use hot water, bleach, liquid detergents, or dishwashing liquids
• Allow to dry Completely before storage or use
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight as UV exposure can compromise waterproofing
