these are amazing for speed work and daily runs. Lightweight and minimal stack height and cushioning while providing good support. Love how ventilated and airy it is for summer runs.

Have always loved the Escalanate, so decided to try out the Racer and was pleasantly surprised to find a more responsive and yet still cushioned variation. I personally leverage them for workout days where I don't want to wear a super shoe.
These are my first Altra shoes. The forefoot allows for good toe movement and the back of the foot for a great fit. I also like the sole which is not too soft!
A more durable option that provides better cushioning than the Escalante 4. Love the light feel, wide toe box. Hoping it lasts longer than the Escalante 4.
Love the wide toe box and zero drop. Use this as my daily shoe for teaching. Not as minimal as some of my other shoes, but solid support. Have played tennis and indoor pickelball in it and the stiffer upper provided both breathability and great lockdown.
Excellent shoe. I'm a PE teacher at a school and use these as my everyday shoe. Love the zero drop and wide toe box. Not as minimal as some of my other shoes, but is comfortable. Can take out the insoles for more ground feel. Have played indoor pickelball and badminton and the structure of the upper provided decent stability and lockdown.
