Warning! First time I got blisters with Altra shoes. On both heels, during my first hike in the Olympus 6. The problem comes from the Achilles pillow added to the rear panel of the shoe. The cushion rubs on heel. Might be a design flaw or just a bad idea or a fit that doesn't suit my feet. Unless that issue, the sole is really comfortable. Stepping on rocks is like walking on clouds!
My husband does a lot of walking and these are now his go to shoes for long walks in the city
These have now become my go to shoes for my long walks in the city. Highly recommend
Comfortable shoes with roomy shape for toes
A bit too cushioned for me compared to my lone peak 9s. Heel cup has a pretty aggressive bevel to it that might take getting used to
For trail runners these offer comfort and support at the same time. A rare combination however some of the joints come undone too early.
Wanted to like them, but the little piece of foam in the heel is just blisters waiting to happen, terrible design decision from Altra
Wore on hiking trip and they were great
Olympus 6 is the best shoes for trails and running outside.
Nice toe box and heel drop. Very comfortable, like the Lone peaks but with more cushion for longer runs.
