As someone who always deals with freezing hands, these gloves are amazing at keeping me warm on even the coldest rides. They also have an incredible grip on the bars, so I never feel like I’m losing control despite the extra insulation.
Little puffy, stops the wind and most water, but a little stiff for moving around. I used my other Castelli gloves for cross country skiing and driving, but these aren’t as comfortable for that.
I used to get very cold fingers with my old pair of gloves, which made me reluctant to ride when temperatures dipped below 5 °C. I haven’t used these outdoors yet, but they are definitely more padded and warmer than what I used before. They are on the bulky side, but they still seem fine for changing gears. Time will tell how good they really are, but so far I’m very pleased with them.
Great Fit and Warm
Have a pair myself and bought these as a gift. Very warm and still allows good dexterity. Velcro strips at the wrist seal nicely to keep the wind out.
These are great for grip and keeping my hands warm on my bike commute to work in the winter. Recommended!
These are bulky gloves. Not for precision mountain biking, for example. But so warm and so soft. No wind gets in and while I haven’t used them in heavy rain, they’ve been very water resistant in lighter showers. Have used them done to 2°C and was very cosy.
I picked these up for winter riding and they do the job well. They are definitely the warm gloves I’ve owned and hold up great in freezing temps. The windproofing is excellent, though they are a little bulky, so you lose some feel on the shifters. They are on the pricey side, but if you struggle with cold hands, they are a solid purchase.
