i ordered these mittens, however i got the unlined version. i have the lined version for my older child i got a different year. they both work very well. the unlined ones will offer us more use of the year as my older child found the lined gloves to be too warm int he late spring. with the unlined glove it gives us the option to start the day with a mitten under and the able to remove the lining after. the mitten with the lining does not have a stitch i the thumb part so i find myself re aligning the thumbs before putting them on my kids. teachers wont have time to do that. just a thought. its a bit large but its the perfect size for whatever the age you bought for to grow into for another season, which i like a lot
