Very warm for its weight
Was shocked at how warm they are for their weight. Bought them for running in the winter, but they might even be too warm for that — and Toronto gets pretty cold! Inseam is quite long (it’s 31”); otherwise, it fits true to size.

A great warm base layer
Can't go wrong with this Patagonia staple. I use under Simms waders for shoulder season fly-fishing and under Powder Bowl ski pants in the winter and these are plenty warm by themselves in most conditions. I still prefer synthetic to wool for most applications -- these have great warmth to weight ration, dry in a flash, and last forever. With the addition of odor control they get me through extended trips without a wash and they fit me perfect -- not too loose, not too tight. Can't see using anything else.
