This comfortable midsize pack is the ultimate companion for snow sports in the backcountry.
It’s a workhorse bag with a roomy interior and all the gear attachment areas you need for equipment. It’s easy to load and unload, with a zippered back-panel to access the main compartment, plus a secondary zippered quick-access point at the top of the pack. The aluminum frame-stay and PE frame-sheet can be customized, so you carry weight with maximum efficiency. The back panel has soft, molded foam and stabilizer wings. The ULLR is built to carry your helmet, skis, snowboard, and safety tools. Skis can be attached in an A-frame configuration or with the diagonal quick-attach system that allows you to transition between skiing and boot-packing without taking off the pack. It also carries snowboards or snowshoes on the front of the pack using the adjustable compression straps. There’s a dedicated pocket for avalanche safety tools such as a shovel and probe. Extra details that matter include: a fleece-lined goggle pocket and a sternum strap with whistle, and glove friendly U-zipper pulls and a mash helmet holder.
