Show your shoes some more sole. We’ve added extra height and edge to our classic 1461 shoe with our Bex platform sole-marked by exaggerated cleats and a deeper tread pattern. Crafted from Smooth leather that you can wear polished or scuffed. The sole is finished with our grooving pattern and signature yellow welt stitching.

• The 1461 3-eye shoe is the second model ever created by Dr. Martens, loved for its easy-to-wear style
• Smooth leather, tough and initially stiff, can be polished to a high shine or worn in to show its character-the choice is yours. Clean with a damp cloth and nourish with Dr. Martens shoe polish
• Our Goodyear-welted styles are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature stitching
• Material: Smooth leather is as classic as it gets-with us from the beginning, it is famously tough and can be buffed up to a high shine or artfully scuffed up
• Construction: This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions
