A seriously good option
These shoes are plushy but not squishy, and very stable on irregular, technical terrain. I use them principally on rough badlands trails and for true meadow surfing (cross-country, no trails). Great heel and midfoot lockdown; lots of room in the toebox; perfect length. True to size: no need to go up or down a size. Really good traction on steep kitty litter hillsides, smooth sandstone ramps, or grassy hills. I had no trouble getting the bootie-style liner over my high instep. And once on, it conforms nicely to my foot. Keen has a reputation for durability. So far, I'm really impressed. They're definitely a player in the game. In my rotation are Brooks Cascadia 16, Norda 001, Hoka Stinson ATR 4, and Speedgoat 7. The Keen Seek have a permanent place in my quiver.
